ABOUT THE COMPANY
About the company ACREST is an NGO established in 2003, with the aim to contribute to poverty reduction efforts and improving people’s well-being by promoting appropriate technologies and using renewable energies. They enable communities to build self-reliance and economic independence through various projects, including one in which youth are trained on the production of solar lanterns to replace kerosene lamps so as to provide affordable and clean lighting to low-income community. These lanterns can offset on average 6 tons of CO2 per household per year.
